We have replaced EVERY appliance in the house. It all started eight years ago when we replaced the refrigerator right after moving in. We couldn&#8217;t find a suitable French door fridge, so while we were at the Sears outlet, I opened the doors of two standard, side-by-side refrigerators and, jokingly said, &#8220;How about this?&#8221; We&#8217;ve had two fridges in the kitchen ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was several years before we replaced anything else, but since then we have (in no particular order) replaced:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The furnace<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The AC (with a heat pump)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The hot water heater<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The washer and dryer (twice!(can&#8217;t forget about the fire!))<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The range<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The dishwasher<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The garbage disposal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and finally the microwave<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Say good-bye!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2440\" height=\"1629\" src=\"http:\/\/theshanty.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/20230716_134901-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-246\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have finally done it.
