I decided to wrap it in a rather unique way. I went to the brick wall at the Lego store intending to fill a large brick bucket with equal parts red, white and green bricks. Unfortunately they did not have a very good selection of white bricks. They had all the 1&#215;3&#8217;s I could carry and nothing else. So, I went light on the white and got more of the red and green. You will need an assortment of sizes. 1&#215;4&#8217;s and 1&#215;2&#8217;s make up most of it. You&#8217;ll need some 1&#215;1 and 1&#215;2 pieces as well to fill gaps and increase strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three 4&#215;6 plates<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" src=\"http:\/\/theshanty.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/step1_result.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-968\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.theshanty.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/step1_result.jpg 320w, http:\/\/blog.theshanty.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/step1_result-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Add a row of bricks making sure you lock all of the base plates together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" src=\"http:\/\/theshanty.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/step2_result.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-971\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.theshanty.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/step2_result.jpg 320w, http:\/\/blog.theshanty.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/step2_result-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep adding rows overlapping seams whenever possible for strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s where I tested for fit. He was fooled and upset that all I got him was some plain old Lego bricks. I had to\u00a0coerce him into taking it apart.
